Morning Sun Reiki

I'm owner/practitioner Lauren Mas.    

 

I've been certified in Reiki since 2005, becoming a certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher & Karuna Reiki practitioner in 2007 and launching Morning Sun Reiki that same year. I was so lucky to be part of a holistic healing center run by two extremely nurturing and talented therapists, Catherine Ewing (Sacred Heart Alchemy) and Lisa Burch (Spirit Matters). In 2013 I closed the business in order to concentrate on my young family's needs.  Between then and now, I continue to grow in Reiki on a personal level. I feel so grateful that the things I learned these past few years on every level led me to an evolved iteration of Morning Sun Reiki!  ​

When my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I felt called to add to my Reiki toolbox in order to support him, so I completed the ICRT Reiki III and Holy Fire Master Teacher certification.  My belief is that these tools were transformational for both of us in different ways. I'm honored to offer this course along with Usui Reiki I/II.

Other adventures in my background include a BS in Psychology, having owned a vintage shop with my sisters, working for LEGO and a few years working in higher ed, among some other fun side-quests!  I have 2 adult children and a husband and we live in the Northeast US.  Over the years, we've had many adopted animal companions (all of whom loved reiki!), many adventures, some twists and turns, ups and downs. . .all of the things that make life fun and interesting.  I feel so lucky to get to do this in my life, meet so many wonderful people and hopefully spend some time with you.
