One of my favorite things about knowing Reiki is that it can become a partner in every part of our lives. Do you have a spiritual practice you'd like to deepen? Invite Reiki. Do you meditate or do yoga? Invite Reiki. Whatever you do in support of your best life, from sound healing to dancing, singing, massage therapy, tapping, running, going to therapy or whatever it may be. . .you guessed it, invite Reiki. Once you let Reiki support you during your practice, you will likely find your experience with that practice starting to transform. After all, Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy that works only in one's highest good. It's like adding love to the recipe that makes up your life; a little secret sauce!
Here are a few of my favorite ways to integrate Reiki into other practices that support my spirit, mind and body:
As I am setting up for yoga and centering, I allow Reiki to flow throughout me and intend that the energy will continue to flow as I breathe and move. During savasana, I imagine Reiki energy is surrounding me like a loving hug for my deep rest.
When I'm hiking, gardening or doing anything outside, I ask Reiki to help me stay present and notice the beauty surrounding me.
At night as I fall asleep, I place one hand on my heart and one on my abdomen and let Reiki flow from my hands, with the intention that it will continue throughout the night.
For creative projects, I invite Reiki in to help me stay focused and open to new ideas.
What are the nourishing practices in your life that might benefit from inviting Reiki in?
With love,
Lauren
